Windows beta is available without the JaMeet native audio driver. Calls, Talk and Music modes, device selection, screen sharing and projects remain available.
The installer is not signed yet, so Windows may show a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen publisher warning.
Installing
macOS
- Open the downloaded installer and follow the steps.
- Enter your administrator password, then restart when asked.
- Open JaMeet and allow microphone and camera access.
Windows
- Run the downloaded installer. No administrator rights are needed.
- Open JaMeet and allow microphone and camera access.
- Choose your inputs and output in Studio Sound Check.
After that, JaMeet updates itself from inside the app.
System requirements
macOS
- macOS 12 Monterey or later, Apple Silicon
- macOS 14.2 or later to capture application or system audio
Windows
- Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11, x64
- Windows 10 build 20348 or later to capture application audio
macOS & Windows
- A microphone or audio interface, and headphones
- A stable internet connection; wired is best for music
